Chrysler Group LLC is not a company to hold back during the holiday season. In an effort to bring as many smiles to children's faces as possible, Chrysler Group LLC's Mid-Atlantic Business Center and its 259 Chrysler dealerships are teaming up with Toys for Tots to help collect toys for underprivileged children.
Toys for Tots, a program run by the United States Marine Corps, has been up and running since 1947, and since then--as of 2013--the Toys for Tots program and foundation have collected and distributed over 469 million toys to children. According to the Toys for Tots site, the goal of the program is the "deliver through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens."1 Chrysler Group LLC is proud to be in on such a mission.
Therefore, through tomorrow, December 18, citizens in the area can bring in new, unwrapped toys to Chrysler dealerships. The Mid-Atlantic Business Center is also offering a special Toys for Tots $750 bonus cash incentive for the Chrysler Town & Country. Through December 26, for each minivan sold, they will donate $100 to charity.
Toys for Tots is nationwide, so if you're in the Eugene, OH area, you can donate to local charities, as well. Brighten a young person's heart this season!
